    WHAT HAPPENS AT AN ORTHODONTIC CONSULTATION ANYWAY?

    Wondering what to expect from your first visit with our Invisalign and braces orthodontist in Colorado? Many new patients (and their parents) think that coming in for a consultation means you’ll be walking out with a full set of braces! We’re here to set your mind at ease. Our orthodontic consultations are always free with zero commitment to move forward with treatment.

    When you visit one of our three convenient locations, you’ll first notice our warm, kid-approved atmosphere. After all, we’re experts in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics in Thornton, Englewood and Central Park, so we strive to make the entire experience fun for our little patients. After you’ve been greeted by our friendly staff, Dr. Brandon Scheer will give your child a smile assessment to determine whether they need orthodontic treatment. If so, he’ll tell you about your treatment options, discuss the cost of braces or Invisalign, and answer all of your questions. If all sounds good, we’ll make a plan to start your child’s orthodontic treatment, but of course there is no obligation.

    By the way, the American Association of Orthodontics recommends that all children visit an orthodontist by age seven. So if your little one is coming due for early orthodontic assessment, contact Kids Mile High to book a complimentary consultation with Dr. Scheer!

    Dr. Brandon Scheer

    Meet Dr. Scheer

    Dr. Brandon Scheer comes from a long family tradition of practicing dentistry, dating back to his great-grandfather who started a dental practice in 1918. After completing his undergraduate education at Wichita State University, Dr. Scheer decided to continue the family legacy and moved to Indiana to study dentistry at Indiana University School of Dentistry.

    While there, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, graduated with highest honors, was inducted by vote of faculty into membership of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and was recognized with an award for Excellence in Oral Biology. Following dental school, Dr. Scheer completed an orthodontic residency program at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and earned a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and a Certificate in Orthodontics.

    When he isn’t practicing orthodontics, you can usually find him wakeboarding during the summer and snowboarding during the winter. He also enjoys playing classical guitar and reading.
