Dr. A Patrick Smithwick III, or Dr. Paddy as the patients call him, is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and reached attending status at Children’s Hospital of Colorado. After graduating from Hobart College, Dr. Paddy was trained at the University of Maryland College of Dental Surgery (fun fact: it was the first dental school in the nation) where he placed in the top five percent on the National Dental Board Exam.
DR. ROGER CASTRO, PEDIATRIC DENTIST
Dr. Roger Castro is a pediatric dentist who helps kiddos maintain healthy smiles in Denver and the surrounding area. He attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. That’s where he made friends with his classmate Dr. Paddy! When he finished dental school, he headed to New York City and completed his residency in general dentistry at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center.
DR. MEREDITH GHIVIZZANI, PEDIATRIC DENTIST
Dr. Meredith Ghivizzani recently moved to Denver with her husband to join the Kids Mile High Team! She has been practicing pediatric dentistry in Houston, Texas for the past few years, but was looking to be closer to family and the mountains.
Dr. Meredith is originally from Gainesville, Florida and attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate studies, Go Gators! She then earned a Master’s of Science from the University of South Florida and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. On top of that Dr. Meredith is also credentialed at the Children’s Hospital Colorado!
DR. BRANDON SCHEER, ORTHODONTIST
Denver-area orthodontist Dr. Brandon Scheer was born and raised in Kansas. He comes from a long family tradition of practicing dentistry, dating back to 1918! He decided to continue the family legacy and studied at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
Following dental school, Dr. Scheer completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. There, he earned a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and a Certificate in Orthodontics. Now, at Kids Mile High Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Scheer offers comprehensive orthodontic care to bring out the best in our growing patients’ smiles.
