Dr. Kemie Houston

Dr. Kemie Houston has been a pediatric dentist since 1991. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family. She has 3 children, Jamie, Julie and Tanner. She is also blessed with 3 grandchildren, Chloe (3), Evan (4) and Reilyn (1 ½). Dr. Houston and her family are active members of Cherry Hills Community Church.

Dr. Houston is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. This designation requires two years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry beyond dental school as well as multiple specialty examinations. She received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1989 from the University of Oklahoma - College of Dentistry. She received her Masters (MS) in Pediatric Dentistry in 1991 from Baylor College of Dentistry. She was a Fellow in Pediatric Dentistry at Children's Hospital of Dallas, Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas and the Denton School for the Mentally Retarded.

Her advanced programs include training in general anesthesia, various sedation techniques, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), pediatric dental trauma, care for children with special health care needs, and much more. Dr. Houston did her studies and wrote her thesis on Craniofacial Morphologic Characteristics of Spinal Muscular Atrophy in Children with an emphasis on growth and development.

Dr. Houston is a volunteer with Kids In Need of Dentistry and on the board of advisors with Smile for a Lifetime. Through these organizations she is able to provide pro bono care to those children who are chosen. She is a major contributor to the Healthy Smiles Foundation and a member of the International Association of Dentists. She has been chosen by the readers of Colorado Parent Magazine as the Family Favorite Pediatric Dentist in Colorado for the last 3 years. She was also selected as a Top Dentist for 5280 Magazine in 2004, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.

Dr. Houston belongs to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and the Metro Denver Dental Society. She is the past President of the Southwest Society of Pediatric Dentists as well as the MDDS, Arapahoe Chapter. She currently serves on the Ethics Committee for the Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentists. Dr. Houston is on staff with The Children’s Hospital and Sky Ridge Medical Center.


Dr. Kyle Klepacki

Dr. Kyle is from Derby, Kansas. He and his wife, Jayme, have 3 beautiful daughters Lillian (4), Ava (3), and Charlotte born in July 2011. They reside in Highlands Ranch and are very excited to be living in our wonderful state. Dr. Kyle enjoys spending time with his family as well as running, snowboarding, playing golf and soccer. Dr. Kyle and his family have been involved in various aspects of their church. Previous to his move to Colorado Dr. Kyle was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church Board of Elders.
Dr. Kyle graduated Summa cum Laude from Concordia University where he received a BS in biology and a minor in chemistry. While at Concordia, Dr. Kyle qualified four times for the NAIA Collegiate Golf Regional Championship and was named to the NAIA, G-PAC All-Conference Soccer Team.  He also received the Seward, Nebraska Police Department’s Outstanding Citizen Award of Honor in 2002.

In 2007, Dr. Kyle received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. During dental school, Dr. Kyle was named to the Dean’s List, tutored students in Prosthodontics, and was a member of the Honors Periodontics program. From 2008-2010, he completed a residency at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin earning him a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. His advanced program included training in various sedation techniques, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), general anesthesia, facial trauma, care for children with special health care needs, and much more. His research involved vital root canal therapy and was titled, “Glass Ionomer as an Alternative Base Restoration After Pulpotomies in Primary Teeth.” While at Children’s Hospital he was selected by the Attending Pediatric Dentists as the 2009-2010 Chief Resident. Dr. Kyle also practiced as a General Dentist in 2007 and 2008.

Dr. Kyle is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and belongs to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and the Metro Denver Dental Society.
